Dieses Dokument legt ein gaschromatographisches Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Epsilon-Caprolactamgehaltes und des Omega-Laurolactamgehaltes in Polyamiden fest. Es ist besonders zur Bestimmung von Epsilon-Caprolactam in Polyamid 6 und von Omega-Laurolactam in Polyamid 12 anwendbar. Zwei Varianten des Basisverfahrens sind festgelegt. - Verfahren A ist ein Extraktionsverfahren unter Anwendung von siedendem Methanol, bei dem das Extrakt in einen Gaschromatographen injiziert wird. - Verfahren B ist ein Verfahren unter Anwendung eines Lösemittels, bei dem die Lösung in einen Gaschromatographen injiziert wird.
