Dieses Dokument legt Prüfverfahren für die Ermittlung und Darstellung von Vielpunkt-Kennwerten für die folgenden mechanischen Eigenschaften von Kunststoffen fest: - dynamischer Modul; - Zugeigenschaften bei konstanter Prüfgeschwindigkeit; - Grenzspannung und -dehnung; - Zugspannungs-Dehnungs-Diagramme; - Kriechverhalten unter Zugbeanspruchung; - Charpy-Schlagzähigkeit; - Durchstoßverhalten. Die Prüfverfahren und Prüfbedingungen treffen vorwiegend auf solche Kunststoffe zu, die durch Spritzgießen oder Formpressen oder als Platten mit vorgegebener Dicke hergestellt werden können, aus denen sich Probekörper der erforderlichen Größe fertigen lassen.
