In diesem Dokument werden Verfahren zur Messung der Schalldämmung von Schallschutzkabinen im Labor und im Einsatzfall beschrieben. Die Schalldämmung ist die von der Kabine bewirkte Minderung des Schalldruck- oder Schallleistungspegels. Die Verfahren sind auf geschlossene Schallschutzkabinen und Schallschutzkabinen mit geringem Öffnungsanteil anwendbar. Das Dokument gilt nur für eine vollständige Schallschutzkabine und nicht für die einzelnen Bauteile, aus denen sie hergestellt wurde. Die Anforderungen an die Messumgebung im Labor basieren auf denjenigen, die in ISO 3741 festgelegt sind.
