Dieser Teil der ISO 12625 legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Widerstandes gegen mechanisches Durchdringen (Berstfestigkeit) von Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkten fest. Zur Zeit gibt es zwei Arten von Einspannvorrichtungen mit zwei verschiedenen Durchmessern auf dem Markt. Ein Durchmesser mit den Maßen 50 mm und der andere mit 89 mm (siehe Anhang B). Dieser Teil der ISO 12625 ist für eine 50 mm Einspannvorrichtung, die es ermöglicht, alle Größen der Durchschnittsproben eines Tissue-Papiers und Tissue-Produktes zu messen und übereinstimmend mit ISO 12625-11 zu sein.
