Sie legt außerdem Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung von Leistungskenngrößen derartiger Pumpen unter festgelegten Laborbedingungen fest. Dieses Dokument gilt für batteriebetriebene Pumpen mit einem Nennvolumenstrom von mehr als 10 ml·min^(-1), die in Kombination mit Sammlern und Sammelsubstraten zur Probenahme von Gasen, Dämpfen, Stäuben, Rauch, Nebel und Fasern verwendet werden. Dieses Dokument gilt in erster Linie für Pumpen mit geregeltem Durchfluss.
