Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Schlagzähigkeit von Formstücken fest, bei dem die Formstücke auf eine harte Oberfläche fallen gelassen werden. Für ein Formstück mit Komponenten zur Dichtungsaufnahme, wie Dichtungsaufnahmekappen oder -ringen schließt das Verfahren die Feststellung der Wasserdichtheit der Formstücke ein, wenn die Fixierungselemente eine Beschädigung als Folge der Prüfung zeigen. Diese Internationale Norm gilt für Formstücke aus Thermoplasten für den Einsatz bei erdverlegten und oberirdischen Anwendungen.
