Diese ÖNORM legt Anforderungen und Eigenschaften der Verpackung und Kennzeichnung für Träger fest, die zum Halten von unmontierten und montierten dentalen Scheiben und von Polierern, die mit dem Schaft fest verbunden sind geeignet sind. Für Träger mit montierten Scheiben und Polierern sind die Anforderungen an das Gewinde und die Schraube nicht anwendbar. Es wird auf ISO 6360 hingewiesen, in der ein 15-stelliges Nummernsystem für die Identifizierung von rotierenden Dentalinstrumenten aller Art festgelegt ist.
