Diese Internationale Norm legt die Verfahren fest, die beim Eindrehen von Flaschenventilen in Gasflaschen zu beachten sind. Sie gilt speziell für alle Ventil/Flaschenkombinationen mit den Schraubgewinden, wie sie in ISO 10920 und ISO 11363-1 festgelegt sind. Diese Norm definiert das Vorgehen bei der Inspektion und bei der Vorbereitung des Ventileindrehvorganges sowohl für kegelige als auch zylindrische Schraubgewinde. Im Anhang A werden Werte für die Drehmomente von Gasflaschen aus Stahl und Aluminium einschließlich Flaschen aus Verbundwerkstoff mit einem Anschlussstück aus Stahl oder Aluminium angegeben.
