Dieses Dokument legt die Eigenschaften von Zylinderkerbstiften mit halblangen Rautekerben (mit geschlossenen Enden) aus Stahl und nichtrostendem Stahl und mit einem Nenndurchmesser 1 mm bis 25 mm fest. Diese Kerbstifte sind so ausgelegt, dass sie die folgenden Hauptfunktionen ausführen: ż Positionierung oder Führung; und ż relative Drehung der zusammengebauten Teile; mit einer stärkeren Einsteckkraft (durch dessen Form) und mit hoher Auszugsfestigkeit (durch das elastische Passverhalten des Stifts). Die allgemeinen Anforderungen (einschließlich Grundlagen hinsichtlich der Funktion für Kerbstifte und Zusammenbau) sind in ISO 13669 festgelegt.
