Dieser Teil von ISO 13693 legt die allgemeinen Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für kleine Kunststoffventile zur Verwendung in Beimischungseinrichtungen fest, die im Folgenden als "Vorrichtung" bezeichnet werden und die für den Einsatz in Bewässerungssystemen vorgesehen sind, bei denen Düngemittel und Chemikalien in für die landwirtschaftliche Anwendung üblichen Konzentrationen direkt dem Bewässerungswasser zugegeben werden dürfen. Er ist anwendbar für regelbare Sicherheitsventile (Rückschlagventile) mit Druckminderer, die den Rückfluss von Bewässerungswasser durch rückläufige Heberwirkung oder Gegendruck in angeschlossene Trinkwasserleitungssysteme verhindern sollen, falls der Druck in der Trinkwasserleitung kleiner als im Bewässerungssystem sein sollte. Er ist auf Ventile mit Nennweiten bis einschließlich DN 50 (2 inch) mit einem Nenndruck von PN 10 anwendbar, die ohne Modifikation oder Anpassungen - bei jedem Druck bis zu 1 MPa (10 bar), - bei jeder Druckänderung bis zu 1 MPa (10 bar) und - im Dauerbetrieb bei Temperaturen bis zu 45 °C und für 1 h bei 65 °C betätigt werden können.
