Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Langzeitdichtheit von zugfesten oder nicht-zugfesten Rohrverbindungsteilen und Verbindungen zwischen Formstücken, Armaturen, Ventilen und thermoplastischen Druckrohren, einschließlich integrierten Rohrverbindungen fest. Das Prüfverfahren ist anwendbar auf Verbindungen, bei denen ähnliche oder unterschiedliche Materialien kombiniert sind oder bei denen Dichtungsmechanismen gummiartige Dichtungsringe oder Klebstoffe enthalten. Das Prüfverfahren ist anwendbar in Ergänzung zu hydrostatischen Druckprüfungen für Materialien und Bauteile.
