Diese ÖNORM legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Gehalts an freien Aminosäuren und Gesamtaminosäuren (nach Proteinhydrolyse) in Tierfuttermitteln fest. Sie ist anwendbar auf die Bestimmung gängiger Aminosäuren mit Ausnahme von Tryptophan. Sie ist nicht anwendbar zur Unterscheidung zwischen D- und L-Formen, zur Unterscheidung zwischen Aminosäuresalzen, und zur Unterscheidung zwischen den hydroxylierten Analogen dieser Aminosäuren.
