Behandelt ist ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Widerstandes gegen Durchstoßen und dynamisches Weiterreißen von Schutzkleidungsmaterialien, die in Situationen verwendet werden, wo Snagging und Weiterreißen zu einer inakzeptablen Beschädigung der Kleidung führen könnte oder für deren Träger durch Verlust an Unversehrtheit eine Gefahr entstehen könnte. Vorgesehen ist, daß die ermittelten Leistungsstufen bei der Festlegung von Materialien für Anwendungsmöglichkeiten verwendet werden, bei denen sich das Gefährdungsrisiko auf die Größe des Durchstiches und Risses bezieht, wie bei Unfällen auftreten kann.
