Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an drei Typen von Gummischläuchen mit Textileinlage für allgemeine Anwendungen mit Wasser in einem Betriebstemperaturbereich von -25 °C bis +70 °C und bei einem maximalen Arbeitsdruck bis zu 2,5 MPa (25 bar) fest. Diese Schläuche sind nicht für Anwendungen zur Förderung von Trinkwasser, den Zulauf an Waschmaschinen, als Feuerwehrschläuche, für spezielle Landwirtschaftsmaschinen und als faltbare Schläuche vorgesehen. Diese Schläuche können angewendet werden, wenn das Wasser Zusätze zur Gefrierpunktserniedrigung enthält.
