Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Austauschacidität in Bariumchloridextrakten von Bodenproben fest, die nach ISO 11260 gewonnen wurden. Das beschriebene Verfahren beinhaltet hauptsächlich die Bestimmung der austauschbaren Gesamtacidität mittels einer Titration bis zu einem festgelegten pH-Endpunkt. Es werden jedoch zwei zusätzliche und fakultative Verfahren angegeben, die zum einen die Bestimmung der freien H+-Acidität und zum anderen des Aluminiums in den Extrakten beschreiben. Dieses Dokument ist auf alle Arten lufttrockenen Bodenprobens anwendbar.
