Die Flecklagekonstanz ist eine Einflußgröße, die vor allem bei langen Schweißzeiten sowie bei Elektronenstrahlschweißungen mit automatischer Bewegung zur Schweißpositionierung von besonderer Bedeutung ist. In diesen Fällen muß der Strahl ohne zusätzliche Lagekorrekturen die Stoßfuge über längere Schweißzeiten mit gleichbleibender und wiederholbarer Position treffen. Beschrieben ist daher, als Teil der Abnahmeprüfung von Elektronenstrahl-Schweißmaschinen, eine Methode zum Messen der Flecklagekonstanz sowie zur Prüfung, ob der erzeugte Elektronenstrahl innerhalb der Grenzen für die Flecklage liegt.
