Diese Internationale Norm legt ein hochleistungsflüssigchromatographisches (HPLC) Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Carbadoxgehaltes in Futtervorgemischen und Futtermitteln fest. Das Verfahren gilt für Futtermittel mit einem Massenanteil an Carbadox von 0,5 mg/kg (Quantifizierungsgrenze) bis 100 mg/kg und für Futtervorgemisch mit einem Massenanteil an Carbadox bis 10 %. Die untere Nachweisgrenze beträgt 0,1 mg/kg. ANMERKUNG 1 Bei Futtermitteln wird der Massenanteil in Milligramm je Kilogramm angegeben, bei Futtervorgemischen in Prozent. ANMERKUNG 2 Carbadox ist ein zur Gruppe der Chinoxaline gehörendes Chemotherapeutikum. Carbadox wird als wachstumsfördernder Futterzusatz für Ferkel verwendet.
