Dieser Teil von ISO 15181 legt das Gerät und die Analysentechnik zum Bestimmen der Menge von Bioziden auf Kupferbasis, die nach ISO 15181-1 aus Antifouling-Beschichtungen durch künstliches Meerwasser ausgewaschen wurden, fest. Nach diesem Teil wird die Kupferionen-Konzentration unter den festgelegten Laborbedingungen bestimmt und die abschließende Berechnung der Auswaschrate von Kupfer angegeben. Dieser Teil von ISO 15181 wurde erstellt, um die gleichzeitige Bestimmung von Kupferionen und anderen Bioziden zu erlauben, die durch die Analyse getrennter Unterproben eines künstlichen Meerwasser-Extraktes, das nach den Festlegungen in ISO 15181-1 extrahiert worden ist, aus einer vorhandenen Antifouling-Beschichtung ausgewaschen werden können und nach den Vorgaben in weiteren Teilen dieser Norm analysiert werden.
