Dieses Dokument definiert fünf Qualifikationsgrade für Personen (ausführlich in Abschnitt 4 aufgeführt), die auf dem Gebiet des kathodischen Korrosionsschutzes (KKS) arbeiten, einschließlich Bewertung, Planung, Installation, Prüfung, Wartung und Weiterentwicklung der Wissenschaft des kathodischen Schutzes. Sie legt dafür einen Rahmen zur Festlegung der Qualifikationsgrade und ihrer Mindestanforderungen fest. Die Qualifikationsgrade gelten für jeden der folgenden Anwendungsbereiche: - metallene an Land befindliche Anlagen; - metallene am oder im Salzwasser befindliche Anlagen und Bauwerke; - Stahlbetonbauwerke; - innere Oberflächen metallener Anlagen, die ein Elektrolyt enthalten. Die Anwendungsbereiche sind in Abschnitt 5 detailliert aufgeführt. In diesem Dokument werden Anforderungen festgelegt, die zum Einführen eines Zertifizierungsverfahrens nach ISO/IEC 17024 angewendet werden. Es ist nicht bindend vorgeschrieben, alle Qualifikationsgrade und/oder Anwendungsbereiche zu übernehmen. In den Anhängen A, B und C wird dieses Zertifizierungsverfahren ausführlich beschrieben.
