Dieses Dokument legt Prüfeinrichtungen und Verfahren zur Bestimmung der langzeitigen Wasseraufnahme von Probekörpern fest. Es gilt für Wärmedämmstoffe. Dieses Dokument legt zwei Prüfverfahren fest: - Prüfverfahren 1: Teilweises Eintauchen; - Prüfverfahren 2: Vollständiges Eintauchen. Die langzeitige Wasseraufnahme bei teilweisem Eintauchen simuliert die Wasseraufnahme, die sich bei langzeitigem Einwirken von Wasser ergibt. Die langzeitige Wasseraufnahme bei vollständigem Eintauchen kann zwar nicht direkt mit den Anwendungsbeanspruchungen verglichen werden, es wurde aber als entsprechende Prüfbedingung für bestimmte Produkte bei manchen Anwendungen anerkannt.
