Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für alle Verbundwerkstoffe mit keramischer Matrix (CMC, en: ceramic matrix composites) mit unidirektionaler (1D), bidirektionaler (2D) und tridirektionaler xD (2 < x = 3) Endlosfaserverstärkung, wie in ISO 19634 festgelegt, die parallel zu einer Hauptachse der Faserverstärkung beansprucht werden. Dieses Dokument ist nicht dafür vorgesehen, absolute Festigkeitskennwerte für Konstruktionszwecke zu erhalten.
