Dieses Dokument legt Verfahren zur Aufzeichnung des zeitlichen Verlaufs des Schalldrucks fest, der entweder durch Schießen mit Kalibern von weniger als 20 mm oder durch die Detonation von Sprengladungen mit einem TNT-Äquivalent von weniger als 50 g innerhalb des Schießplatzes an interessierenden Orten erzeugt wird, und zwar bezogen auf die Schallexposition des Schützen oder jeder anderen Person innerhalb des Schießplatzes. Der zeitliche Verlauf des Schalldrucks kann als Grundlage für weitere Analysen dieser Art von Schall an den interessierenden Orten dienen.
