Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Größenverteilung von partikelförmigen Brennstoffen als Schüttgut durch das vertikale Rüttelsiebverfahren fest. Das beschriebene Verfahren ist ausschließlich für partikelförmige biogene Brennstoffe vorgesehen, d. h. Materialien, die entweder zerkleinert worden sind, so wie die meisten Holzbrennstoffe, oder die physisch in einer partikelförmigen Form vorliegen. Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für partikelförmige, unkomprimierte Brennstoffe mit einer nominellen Siebgröße von 3,15 mm und weniger (z. B. Sägespäne).
