Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von ethoxylierten Alkylphenolen (APEO) [Nonylphenolethoxylat (NPEOn, wobei 2 kleiner gleich n kleiner gleich 16) und Octylphenolethoxylat [OPEOn, wobei 2 kleiner gleich n kleiner gleich 16)] in Leder fest. Dieses direkte Verfahren ist besonders geeignet, wenn eine größere Anzahl von Lederproben auf die Anwesenheit von ethoxylierten Alkylphenolen zu überprüfen ist. Dieses Verfahren erfordert die Anwendung der Flüssigkeitschromatographie (LC) mit einem Triple-Quadrupol-Massenspektrometer (MS/MS), um ethoxylierte Alkylphenole zu identifizieren und quantitativ zu bestimmen.
