Diese Internationale Norm legt die Grenzabmaße und Formtoleranzen fest für warmgewalztes Blech aus nichtrostendem Stahl (Quartoblech) hergestellt durch Walzen auf einer Umkehrstraße, in: a) Nenndicken, 4 mm kleiner gleich t kleiner gleich 250 mm; b) Nennbreiten, w größer gleich 600 mm. Die Grenzabmaße für Blech in Nennbreiten w < 600 mm nach Ablängen oder Längsteilen eines breiteren Bandes müssen zwischen Hersteller und Besteller vereinbart werden. Diese Internationale Norm gilt nicht für Ronden, Skizzenbleche, Bleche mit eingewalzten Mustern, Breitflachstahl und ebenso nicht für kontinuierlich gewalztes Blech. Für diese Produkte gilt ISO 9444.
