Eingeblasene lose Wärmedämmstoffe können einer Setzung unterworfen sein, während der eine Abnahme der Dämmstoffdicke erfolgt und sich so eine Verminderung der thermischen Leistung der Wärmedämmung ergibt. Dieser Teil von EN ISO 18393 legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Setzung von eingeblasenen losen Wärmedämmstoffen bei horizontaler Anwendung in belüfteten Dachgeschossen fest. Mit Hilfe dieses Prüfverfahrens werden die Auswirkungen von zyklischen Luftfeuchte- und Temperaturbeanspruchungen gemessen.
