Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Gesamtbildunschärfe und Basis-Ortsauflösung von Durchstrahlungs- und Röntgenaufnahmen fest. Ein BPK mit bis zu 13 Drahtpaaren kann mit einer Röhren-spannung von bis zu 600 kV effektiv eingesetzt werden. Ein BPK mit mehr als 13 Drahtpaaren kann mit einer Röhrenspannung unterhalb von 225 kV effektiv eingesetzt werden. Bei Verwendung von Quellenspannungen im Megavolt-Bereich sind die Prüfergebnisse möglicherweise nicht vollständig zufriedenstellend.
