Die Verfahren sind eine Ergänzung zu den in ISO 1927-6 beschriebenen. Die Verfahren basieren auf Normen für geformte feuerfeste Erzeugnisse und wurden so abgeändert, dass sie auf die in ISO 1927-1 festgelegten dichten und wärmedämmenden Feuerbetone und Rammmassen im ungebrannten und gebrannten Zustand anwendbar sind.
