Dieser Teil von ISO 20783 legt drei Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Emulsionsstabilität für Flüssigkeiten der in ISO 6743-4 definierten Kategorie HFB fest. Verfahren A legt die Bestimmung der Emulsionsstabilität während der Lagerung bei Raumtemperatur [(20 ± 2) °C] fest und ist anwendbar auf Flüssigkeiten vom Typ HFB und HFB.LT. Verfahren B legt die Bestimmung der Emulsionsstabilität während der Lagerung bei mittlerer Temperatur [(70 ± 2) °C] fest und ist ebenfalls anwendbar auf Flüssigkeiten vom Typ HFB und HFB.LT. Verfahren C legt die Bestimmung der Emulsionsstabilität während der Lagerung bei niedriger Temperatur [(- 10 ± 2) °C] fest und ist ebenfalls anwendbar nur auf Flüssigkeiten vom Typ HFB.LT.
