Dieses Dokument legt ein Laborprüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des elektrischen Widerstands eines Schienenbefestigungssystems bei Nässe zwischen den Fahrschienen fest. Dieses Befestigungssystem ist auf Gleis- bzw. Weichenschwellen aus Stahl oder Beton oder auf einem Stück eines schotterlosen Oberbaus befestigt. Diese ist ebenfalls für eingebettete Schienen anwendbar. Das Prüfverfahren ist anwendbar für ein komplettes Schienenbefestigungssystem. Dies ist maßgeblich für den Strom bei der Signalgebung, jedoch nicht für den Fahrstrom. Ein Referenzverfahren und ein alternatives Verfahren sind inbegriffen.
