Diese ÖNORM legt die Bedingungen für die Konditionierung und die Konditionierungsmethoden, die für gummi- oder kunststoffbeschichtete Textilien verwendet werden, fest. Da diese ÖNORM mehrere - zum Teil von EN 20139 abweichende - Normalklimate enthält, wurde von CEN/TC 248 folgende Anerkennungsnotiz beschlossen: Diese Norm beinhaltet 5 Normalklimate, von denen A und B für die Anwendung in den CEN-Mitgliedsstaaten empfohlen werden. Klima D darf angewendet werden, wenn die Feuchtigkeit nicht kritisch ist. Andere Normalklimate von ISO 2231 dürfen nach gegenseitiger Übereinkunft angewendet werden.
