Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur gaschromatographischen Bestimmung von Lösemitteln in wasserverdünnbaren Beschichtungsstoffen, Bindemittellösungen, Emulsionen und Dispersionen fest. Mit der im Abschnitt 13 angegebenen Präzision lassen sich Einzelkomponenten oberhalb von 0,02 % (Massenanteil) quantitativ bestimmen. Das in diesem Dokument festgelegte Verfahren ist nicht für die Bestimmung des Gehaltes an flüchtigen organischen Verbindungen (VOC, en: volatile organic compound) und halbflüchtigen organischen Verbindungen (SVOC, en: semi-volatile organic compound) anwendbar.
