Dieses Dokument legt zusätzliche Anforderungen zu den in ISO 5826 angegebenen Anforderungen an einphasige Invertertransformatoren mit angeschlossenem Gleichrichter für Schweißgleichstrom fest. Dieses Dokument gilt für Transformatoren, die überwiegend in Schweißzangen, die bei 1 000 Hz mit einer Eingangsspannung von 500 V oder mehr betrieben werden, eingesetzt werden. Die Anforderungen von ISO 5826 müssen eingehalten werden, solange sie nicht in dem vorliegenden Dokument abgeändert wurden.
