Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur gaschromatographischen Bestimmung (GC) von gesättigten, olefinischen und aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen in Ottokraftstoffen für Kleinmotoren und Ethanolkraftstoff (E85) für Kraftfahrzeuge fest. Zusätzlich können die Gehalte an Benzol und Toluol, sauerstoffhaltigen Verbindungen sowie der Gesamtsauerstoffgehalt bestimmt werden. Obwohl dieses Verfahren speziell für die Analyse von Ottokraftstoffen mit sauerstoffhaltigen Verbindungen entwickelt wurde, kann es auch auf andere Kohlenwasserstoffströme mit ähnlichen Siedebereichen, wie z. B. Naphthas und Reformate, angewendet werden.
