Dieses Dokument ist ebenfalls auf Proben von Sedimenten, Schlämmen und Abfällen (bodenähnliche Materialien) anwendbar. Der Arbeitsbereich ist von dem angewendeten Nachweisverfahren und der für die Untersuchung genommenen Probemenge abhängig. Die Bestimmungsgrenze der Einzelverbindungen ist etwa 10 µg/kg.
