Sie enthält ein kombiniertes Prüfver-fahren zur gleichzeitigen Bestimmung der Klemmdrehmomenteigenschaften und der Drehmoment/Vor-spannkraft-Eigenschaften. Sie gilt für Ganzmetallmuttern mit Klemmteil und für Muttern mit Klemmteil mit nichtmetallischem Einsatz - mit ISO-Gewindeprofil nach ISO 68-1; - mit Durchmesser/Steigungs-Kombination nach ISO 261 und ISO 262; - mit Regelgewinde M5 bis M39 oder mit Feingewinde M8×1 bis M39×3; - mit den Gewindetoleranzen nach ISO 965-2; - mit den mechanischen Eigenschaften nach ISO 898-2. Die in dieser Norm festgelegten Klemmdrehmomentwerte basieren auf Laborprüfbedingungen.
