Dieses Dokument stellt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Koeffizienten der Reibung zwischen Schuhen und Bodenbelägen zur Verfügung unter Nachbildung der Bedingungen, die in den Phasen eines typischen Gehschritts wahrgenommen werden, in denen das Auftreten von Rutschen am wahrscheinlichsten ist. Das Verfahren ist anwendbar für alle Arten von Schuhen und Schuhbestandteilen, Laufsohleneinheiten, Absatzflecken (Deckflecken) und Werkstoffe für Sohlenplatten, mit Ausnahme von PSA-Schuhen (Persönliche Schutzausrüstung) und für Schuhe für besondere Zwecke mit Spikes, Metallbolzen oder gleichwertig.
