Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Längsschrumpfes von Rohren aus Thermoplasten fest, dessen Durchführung im Flüssigkeitsbad oder in Luft erfolgt. Im Schiedsfall wird das Verfahren mit temperierter Flüssigkeit als Referenzverfahren angewendet. Dieses Dokument ist auf alle Rohre aus Thermoplasten mit glatten Innen- und Außenwänden mit konstantem Querschnitt anwendbar. Es ist nicht anwendbar für nicht-glattwandige Rohre aus Thermoplasten. Die für den Rohrwerkstoff geeigneten Kennwerte sowie Empfehlungen für die maximalen Werte des Schrumpfes in Abhängigkeit vom Rohrwerkstoff sind in Anhang A angegeben. Dieses Verfahren ist anwendbar für Rohre mit einer Wanddicke <= 16 mm.
