Dieses Dokument legt Index-Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften des Druckkriechens von geosynthetischen Produkten fest. Die Messproben werden entweder einer normalen Druckbeanspruchung oder einer Kombination von normaler Druck- und Scherbeanspruchung ausgesetzt. Das Prüfverfahren nur mit normaler Druckbeanspruchung ist das Standardverfahren. Das Prüfverfahren, bei dem kombinierte Druck- und Scherkräfte angewandt werden, ist für Produkte vorgesehen, die gegen Scherbruch anfällig sind, d. h. Produkte mit einer säulenartigen oder kegel- oder pyramidenförmigen Struktur. Die Prüfungen werden an trockenen oder in Wasser eingetauchten Messproben durchgeführt. Die Durchführung der Prüfung in Wasser eingetauchter Messproben ist dafür vorgesehen, wenn irgendein Teil des Geokunststoff-Produktes ein hydrophiles Polymer enthält.
