Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen für zwei Typen, sieben Klassen und drei Unterklassen von draht- oder textilverstärkten Nassbaggerschläuchen mit einer Nennweite von 100 bis 1 300 fest. Derartige Schläuche sind geeignet für die Förderung oder das Ansaugen von Meerwasser oder Süßwasser vermischt mit Schlick, Sand, Korallen und kleinen Steinen mit einer Dichte von 1,0 bis 2,3 bei Umgebungstemperaturen von -10 °C bis zu +40 °C bzw. bei Niedrigtemperaturschläuchen (mit der Bezeichnung -LT) von -20 °C bis zu +40 °C. Dieses Dokument umfasst zwei Arten von Schläuchen, wie folgt: Typ 1: Schwimmtyp, nur zur Förderung, welcher Schwimmmaterial enthält, das für den Auftrieb des Schlauches sorgt; Typ 2: Unterwassertyp zur Förderung und Ansaugung.
