Diese Maschinen dienen zur Schlussbearbeitung von Oberflächen und nicht zum Materialabtrag. Es handelt sich um ein Messverfahren zur Ermittlung der Schwingungskennwerte (Schwingungsemissionswerte) an den Greifstellen der Maschine, die unter Laborbedingungen betrieben wird.
