Dieses Dokument legt zwei Verfahren zur Ermittlung des Schmelzverhaltens von teilkristallinen Polymeren fest. a) Verfahren A: Kapillarrohr Dieses Verfahren beruht auf den Veränderungen der Form des Polymers. Es ist auf alle teilkristallinen Polymere und ihre Formmassen anwendbar. b) Verfahren B: Polarisationsmikroskop Dieses Verfahren beruht auf den Veränderungen der optischen Eigenschaften des Polymers. Es ist auf Polymere mit doppelbrechender kristalliner Phase anwendbar. Für Kunststoff-Formmassen, die Pigmente und/oder andere Zusätze enthalten, die die Doppelbrechung der polymeren, kristallinen Zone stören können, könnte es möglicherweise ungeeignet sein.
