Eigenschaften von textilen Flächengebilden und Kleidungsstücken, die sich beim Chemischreinigen oder Nassreinigen sowie bei Nachbehandlungen ändern können, werden bestimmt und zur Beurteilung der Veränderungen werden Verfahren, soweit zutreffend, nach vorhandenen Internationalen Normen angegeben. Weitere ebenso wichtige Eigenschaften, für deren Beurteilung jedoch keine Verfahren nach Internationalen Normen zur Verfügung stehen, sind zusammen mit einem Hinweis, wie bei deren Beurteilung vorzugehen ist, im Anhang A (normativ) aufgeführt.
