Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an Zertifizierungsprogramme für nachhaltigen und rückverfolgbaren Kakao fest, einschließlich der Zertifizierung von Kakaobohnen produzierenden Organisationen und von Akteuren der Kakaolieferkette. Es ist gemeinsam mit ISO 34101-1, ISO 34101-2 und/oder ISO 34101-3 zu verwenden. Dieses Dokument legt auch Anforderungen an das Managementsystem für die Nachhaltigkeit von Kakao fest: - für das Einstiegsniveau siehe Anhang A; - für das mittlere Niveau siehe Anhang B. Nur Organisationen, die sowohl Anforderungen an das Managementsystem für die Nachhaltigkeit von Kakao entweder von ISO 34101-1 oder Anhang A oder Anhang B als auch die Leistungsanforderungen von ISO 34101-2 erfüllen, können ihre Kakaobohnen als nachhaltig produziert bezeichnen.
