Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Prüfung der Dichtheit unter Innendruck von zusammengesetzten Verbindungen zwischen mechanischen Formstücken und Kunststoff-Druckrohren bei gleichzeitig einwirkender Biegung fest. Sie legt das Berechnungsverfahren für den mittleren Biegeradius und die Ausführung dieser Biegung fest. Die Prüfung der Dichtheit unter Innendruck erfolgt nach dem in ISO 3458 beschriebenen Verfahren. Das Prüfverfahren gilt nicht für Schmelzschweißverbindungen.
