Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Gehaltes an Sediment in Rohöl und Heizölen durch Extraktion mit Toluol fest. Die Angaben zur Präzision gelten für einen Bereich von Massenanteilen an Sediment von 0,Ol Y. ( d m ) bis 0,40 Oh (dm); es dürfen jedoch höhere Massenanteile bestimmt werden. ANMERKUNG 1 : Falls diese Internationale Norm auf Rohölproben angewandt wird, die signifikante Mengen an Salzen enthalten, kann sich ein zu hoher Sedimentgehalt ergeben, da ein Anteil anorganischer Salze in der Extraktionshülse hängen bleiben kann. Im allgemeinen ist dieses Problem für Rohölproben mit einem Gesamtsalzgehalt unter 0,l Y. (dm) nicht signifikant. ANMERKUNG 2: Für die Anwendung dieser Internationalen Norm werden Massenanteile bzw.
