Dieser Teil von ISO 4759 legt Toleranzen für flache Scheiben der Produktklassen A, C und F mit Nenndurch-messern von 1 mm bis einschließlich 150 mm fest, die für die Verwendung in Schraubverbindungen in Kom-bination mit Schrauben und Muttern vorgesehen sind. Dieser Teil von ISO 4759 darf auch auf nicht-flache Scheiben angewendet werden, für die jedoch nicht alle Toleranzen enthalten sind. Die Norm gilt sowohl für verlierbare als auch für unverlierbare Scheiben sowie für genormte und für nicht genormte Scheiben. Sie gilt nicht für dynamisch beanspruchte Tellerfedern. Scheiben der Produktklassen F und A sind für die Anwendung mit Schrauben und Muttern der Produkt-klassen A und B vorgesehen; Scheiben der Produktklasse C sind für die Anwendung mit Schrauben und Muttern der Produktklasse C vorgesehen.
