Es ist nicht anwendbar für poröses Papier wie Zeitungsdruckpapier oder Papiere wie Löschpapier oder andere Papiere mit einem relativ hohen Wasserabsorptionsvermögen. Hierfür ist ISO 8787 besser geeignet.
