Die Prüfung von Strahlventilatoren ist in ISO 13350 beschrieben. Vorgesehen sind Abschätzungen zur Messunsicherheit, und es werden innerhalb festgelegter Grenzen Umrechnungsregeln für die Prüfergebnisse bei Drehzahländerungen, Veränderungen des geförderten Gases und, bei Modellversuchen, der Maße gegeben.
