Dieses Dokument legt Maße für Einschraublöcher mit metrischem Gewinde für richtungseinstellbare und nicht richtungseinstellbare Einschraubzapfen nach ISO 6149-2 und ISO 6149-3 fest. Einschraublöcher nach diesem Dokument können bei Arbeitsdrücken bis 63 MPa (630 bar) mit nicht richtungseinstellbaren Einschraubzapfen und bis 40 MPa (400 bar) mit richtungseinstellbaren Einschraubzapfen verwendet werden. Der zulässige Arbeitsdruck ist abhängig von der Größe des Einschraubloches, den Werkstoffen, Konstruktion, Betriebsbedingungen, Anwendungsfall usw. Druckstufen siehe ISO 6149-2 und ISO 6149-3.
